Imagine how that played out in california’s wildfires, when the electrical grid was shut off to reduce new fires; the enlightened californians got to watch their homes AND electric cars burn (because they couldn’t charge them).
I would never go further than a hybrid, and even that would be years away.
Its amazing how much of this you can figure out just through speculation.
They have to have complete control of everyone’s lives if their criminal new world order is to succeed.

I will not put anything on a network that controls my egress into and out of my home or controls the heating/cooling. They are going to have to turn the grid off to shut me down and they did last Christmas when it was bitter cold, random blackouts. Which in the long run caused struggling heat pumps to work even harder to try and catch up on the heat loss.
Several EV idiots on FR have said the grid has excess capacity for EVs.

Then your life will end. By then a walk home through any urban or suburban community will be committing suicide. The government will not have to euthanize those with social credit. The lawless members of protected groups will eliminated those jettisoned from the brave new world. Politicians and bureaucrats will have clean hands.
The “powers that be” do not want you driving EVs no more than they want you driving ICE automobiles.
They do not want you driving at all.
The left wants to switch everything to electric, from automobiles to ranges. But they have no plan as to how all that needed electricity is going to be created. Batteries do not create electricity no more than the receptacles in your home do. It has to come from nuclear, coal, gas or hydro in order to power the world in sufficient amounts to maintain a successful economic society. Wind and solar with its current technology will not cut it no matter what the climate cultists want to pretend (or make you believe).
Their goal is for YOU not to travel at all other than walking or biking in their “15 minute” cities. You will go no where and you WILL be happy. If you aren’t, they have a vaccine for that!
Glad to see so many people on FR “get it.” I try to discuss the climate scam’s dangers with my otherwise good and well meaning friends and relatives here in the reddest red state of Oklahoma, but they DON’T “get it.” They let the media fool them into thinking the coldest winter from their youth was “normal back then.”
They think I’m just a “conspiracy kook,” even when the “conspiracy” comes true all around them, even when climate scam Democrat politicians come right out and BOAST how they’re going to outlaw single family homes, force us into the inner cities, make us go vegan, take away our cars, etc. Life in such an enviromarxist $#!+hole of a country would NOT be worth living!
