This so called mother needs to be publicly stoned to death as a warning to others. Animals are better mothers.
I don’t get it. Did the mother assault the child herself, or sell her to beasts for drugs, or was the mother under the control of some some horrific criminal? This crime requires an ISIS burn cage for all who caused it.
The article says that some two weeks ago the child’s uncle reported to police that the child appeared to have been burned. Yet the final crime seems to have occurred less than ONE week ago. No welfare check on the child for a WEEK?
It’s only a matter of time before the wrath hits.

The police couldn’t find the child and her mother after the uncle reported.
Who is this attorney faulting the public response? Who knew the baby was abused and did nothing, except perhaps the mother? That’s not the public.

I have 4 daughters, 6 grandkids and 12 great grandchildren if any one of them did this to a progeny of mine, I would not bail them out. Get them help, certainly, but I wouldn’t want them around any of us.

Would be interesting to see what her family dynamics are. I understand an Uncle had turned her in for child abuse in July before this final blow. We don’t have enough of the story but the idea the family bailed her out to the tune of a million dollars bail is stunning.

Under normal circumstances and in normal times... ie in the good ole days... that might be true. Unfortunately, we’re nowhere near “normal times” now. Courts of so-called ‘justice’ now only seem intent on punishing the good, while letting the evil off easy. Apparently...God has “given them over to their own devices and depraved minds’. Things have shifted. And we’re just along for the ride. So buckle up, it’s only going to get bumpier from here on.
What about the flipping FATHER??? Aren’t they supposed to protect their children too??
What about the mother’s father? What the hay did he do/not do to raise a daughter with such low esteem of herself and her child??
There aren’t many details given here. Who exactly raped and beat this baby? Her husband/boyfriend, a friend or family member of theirs? SHE certainly didn’t rape her daughter. Was she under threat of her life when this happened?
Who brought the baby to the hospital?
Too many questions to maķe any assumptions.
All we have are the presumptions by the authorities.
This baby looks well fed, the light in her eyes radiates happiness, she’s clean and well dressed
And what a beautiful child. She reminds me of one of my own grandchildren and I want to cry.
And, I want to know the actual truth.
I would guess that the person complaining about the public doing nothing is privy to details not covered in the article. I’d further guess that at least some people did know there was abuse going on, even if not the extent. We can only hope that police round up every single scumbag who participated or knew without acting to protect the child.
