The team name the Yankees triggers me. As does the Blackhawks, and Braves. These names need to change immediately.
Laughing at the thought of the “Washington HMFICs” (For lurkers who don’t know: Head M*****F***** In Charge.) And the guy with a whole lot of stripes on his sleeve is the sergeant major, who has become a non-commissioned officer and has tons more experience than the commissioned officers who outrank him, because the commissioned officers have to keep getting promoted quickly to avoid retirement.
I wish that my high school, Fort Wayne North Side, which was the Redskins until a few years back when they changed it to the “Legends”, would revert to Redskins.

Not surprising. By removing the Indian referenced names, it erases their culture completely from our lexicon.
The University of Illinois are the Fighting’ Illini. They pay homage to tribe by incorporating their history to incoming students.
Pulling down monuments, removing books, changing the names of schools etc.
