For some, if the person isn’t Trump, the person isn’t MAGA. It should never be about one person. It should be about principles and policies that support those principles.
What was mischaracterized? If Trump wants to use the Republican party, then he should work with it, not against it.

Nawwww.
Trump supporters have a more pragmatic approach.
Its more of an evidence based approach.
We look at everything about the candidates, not just the words out of their mouths, especially for candidates like DeSanctimonious who is a lawyer.
So when DeSantis coseys up and gets in bed with Globalists ad NeoCons, basically the enemies of MAGA, we know his words do not align with what he will do in office.
This is a big tip-off to any thinking individual.
President Trump, on the other hand, is very honest and open about his policy positions and has proven his fidelity to those positions with what he accomplished in his first POTUS term.
Did he accomplish everything he set out to do, NO. But is was not for a lack of trying.
In addition, this conversation would not be complete in context if we did not mention that President Trump was fighting against the MSM, the Democrats, a Court system filled with Marxists, and last and certainly not least, entrenched Globalist and NeoCons in his own part that were adamantly opposed to his MAGA policy positions because it threatens there seats of power and influence.

No never-Trumpers will support Trump as the nominee, but the vast majority DeSantis supporters will. Many have stated this repeatedly in prior threads.
Unlike only-Trumpers others first priority is having a Republican in the WH.

You must have missed that Trump endorsed some really crappy candidates that didn’t require sabotaging, they genuinely sucked.

Now that is too funny. Do you think the Republican party will unify behind Trump if he is the nominee?Of course they will. They've done so twice before.
Trump's problem won't be the GOP unifying behind him. It'll be all the independent and swing voters who don't.

No, we don’t forget it; we have just finally been pushed to the point where we don’t give a damn about all the phony, lying candidates anymore.
The DNC pushes their LOSERS
The RNC pushes their LOSERS
Now days I just call them Republicrats and Demicans, they are all the same to us now——LOSERS!
To me they are all REPUGNACRATS.
We will vote for who WE want this time regardless of the consequences: if we win, great, if we lose things will just stay the same, SO WHAT!

If you’re adhering to guilt by association, Trump is pretty cozy with Lindsey Graham, a globalist neocon. If they have a dust-up, Graham has only to say something nice, and he’s back in Trump’s favor.
As to DeSantis, we know what he’ll do in office, because of what he is doing as governor. Pretending that he’s just a RINO stooge flies in the face of his accomplishments as a conservative. He just replaced a catch-and-release state attorney with one who immediately canceled her pro-illegal alien SOP. We need someone to do this at the federal level. If Trump wins, I hope he will do the same. Whoever gets in needs to fire all the appointed judges who ignore the Constitution.

Trump is a jerk who demands loyalty from people who don’t owe it to him. It’s an open primary, but he treats it like it’s his flipping birthright. This election more than any other should be the one where he says he’s going to support the GOP nominee considering that if the D’s retain the White House, he’s going to prison for the rest of his life. It’s as simple as that. Is that what you want? I don’t want it, but if this dumbass is so unbothered by that possibility that he’d actually help that scenario come to pass, then he can F right off and I’ll enjoy the laugh when they put him away for good.Kick it up a notch and we can watch you disappear into the ether.

If you don’t care for “phony, lying candidates”, why do you support Trump? He tells people what they want to hear, just like the others. Is it because it’s obvious he’s a con, so it’s more entertaining?

No need for me to kick it up a notch. As people like you continue to transform this place into RinoRepublic, I’m sure it’ll happen anyway.
