Turn the chart over. You've been reading it upside down.
“Consistent with EPA’s traditional approach to establishing pollution standards for power plants under section 111 of the Clean Air Act, the proposed standards are based on technologies such as
carbon capture and sequestration/storage (CCS)
low-GHG hydrogen co-firing”
“Base load affected facilities that follow the CCS pathway must meet a second phase standard based on 90% capture of CO2, using CCS, by 2035”
“Baseload affected facilities that follow the low-GHG hydrogen pathway must meet a second phase standard based on co-firing 30% low-GHG hydrogen by volume by 2032 and a third phase standard based on cofiring 96% by volume low-GHG hydrogen by 2038”
I forecast much higher electric prices in the future.
I was wondering what Baghdad Bob was up to now.
Inflation is NOT "under control." #FJB
“Progressive advocacy groups are calling on the Biden administration to impose rent control on tens of millions of homes in response to soaring rent increases.”
“One private-sector report based on new leases found that rents actually rose 12.3 percent from July 2021 to July 2022.”
“the groups want the Federal Trade Commission to sue landlords who impose excessive rent increases, and HUD to require jurisdictions to investigate rapidly rising rents and adopt rent controls”
“Up until basically exactly right now, rent control and rent regulation were basically a third-rail political issue, completely untouchable by anyone really at any level of government, much less the federal government. Now, based on how dire the inflation crisis is, and how painfully it’s hitting American households’ pocketbooks....”

You all lie!
Oh yeah, prices are coming down . . . Our homeowners insurance went up another 16%, auto insurance 23%. Total gaslighting.
Most of my shopping was at Walmart in the groc. dept. I saw one price actually come down recently.
I just got the bill for my post office box.
Last year it was $120 for the year.
Now it is $190 per year. That’s pretty high rent for a half a cubic foot of space in a small town in flyover country.
In 2020 it was $80 per year. When I first rented it about 20 years ago it was $40 per year.
While there are other factors besides mere inflation (like corruption and mismanagement) in the price of a post office box, I bet these Treasury shylocks didn’t add this into their calculations.
I bet they didn’t include ‘The Big Guy’s 10% either.
Spoken by people who never have to grocery shop.
Or pay their own bills.
They get paid so much that they don’t notice the price increases, but we do.
Where I buy gas the Price went down from $3.51 9/10 a gallon to #3.59 9/10 .Groceries went down correspondingly. I f gas and groceries keep going down like this, I won’t be able to afford them any longer.
Really prices are down are they, well gas went up on average 39cents a gallon the last to to three weeks here in where I live. Prices on food are sure up also.
The price of groceries seems to be frozen at their highest peak.
Let's say inflation leveled out, would that be a victory?
Costs vs income would still be unfavorably high. Folks on fixed incomes (such as moi) would still have unrecovered buying power.
People hurting (talking middle class folks who made and make the country) will still hurt, and worry for the future and the future of their kids and grandkids.
But of course, inflation hasn't leveled out. If the rate slows the damage is still done.
We did buy a dozen eggs this week for $1.29!
Bidenomics is working! Praise the Lord!
These people are high on life.
I think they’re high on tax dollars.
Apparently they haven’t bought gas lately.
