Trump for all he had done as President did the greatest favor we could have ever asked for from an elected official. That was to expose just how far from the truth it is that we are governed by our peers.
Here everyday...we act like we still have a country worth voting for...yet it is painfully obvious we don't.
So do you suggest we all just don’t vote? What do you suggest?

That was the case twenty and more years ago. If you could get 50% registration, and better than 50% turn-out, you were about maxxed out. Today, you get the ballot-harvested indifferent, the hard-core left (including the AWFULs), and the government-dependent. The pool of people that still fight against them is becoming overwhelmed, and less likely to believe that it matters. Then we get handed a Romney or McCain....

There is no surprise here. In fact, this is precisely what the American electorate did in 2020, when it gave Trump 46.8% of the popular vote. Nothing has or will change on this, as everyone’s minds are made up about Trump, and he has little to no prospect of changing anyone’s mind.
More importantly, Trump lost all the swing states (PA, MI,WI,AZ, NV, GA), and none of them are coming back to him, even against a feeble, incompetent Biden.
I’m in GA and voted for DT twice but won’t again. GA is #1 world-wide in film production, which began when “Deliverance” was filmed here and then GA provided all kinds of incentives to keep the gravy flowing. Film folks generally vote D but my NW GA Rep - Marjorie Taylor Greene - is among the most conservative in the House.

To your point about being delusional, we currently live in a world of misinformation and propagandized disinformation. That said, what is the truth, and what/who can you trust? If you lived in Nazi Germany you would have been bombarded with untrue 'truths'. The same is happening here - only it's worse now because we have much more powerful means of disseminating information AND disinformation.
For example, the 'Russian Dossier' was portrayed as truth, whereas the Hunter Biden laptop was portrayed as fake. As we now know, the absolute opposite is the real truth for both. There are plenty of people out there who don't know the real truth - still.
Fauci, as another example, was called "America's Doctor" by Jill Biden and has been lauded as a great American hero by many in the media. The reality is that at the very least he suppressed science related to the origins of Covid.
Lies, deceptions, mis and disinformation, etc. are very hard to walk back once they've been disseminated. These are dire times, and dangerous times. Being wary of any source of information, without first investigating and vetting its validity is entirely understandable.
Hard to believe with so many people struggling these days to pay for necessities like groceries and gas for the car that they'd vote for more of same, which will certainly get worse with a 2nd Biden admin.
Biden should be in 1980 Carter territory.
