BRICS common currency. Not ready for prime time. May never be. Short term, NOT a threat.
No they won’t come crawling back. Why would they trade their gold backed currencies for a worthless fiat currency? Soon the whole world will be BRICS or you can call it QFS. I have mentioned in previous posts that XRP will be used as the transfer mechanism in QFS. I heard yesterday that BRICS is using XRP as the transfer mechanism.
What do you think Trump has planned for the $4 quadrillion in gold he repatriated from the Vatican? Its going to back the new US note. The entire world will soon be on this system.
“the BRICS nations come together in South Africa “
Can noone else but me see how silly that statement is?
3 sworn enemies, 2 worthless hangers on, 1 failed state, 2 Socialist shiiiite holes, the list goes on.
BRICS is nothing but a marketing campaign.
Yeah, Gold is Gold.
But a currency backed by gold is just that.
The Power of the Day can just pull the rug out whenever it wants to.
It’s only been about 50 years since that happened last time.
No, I agree. It’s why I said what I said. They aren’t moving up nearly as fast as we are falling down. IMHO.
The world will be ALL one or ALL the other...
following
If US import prices are not pinned to the dollar, will they rise substantially? If so, I see some good that could (operable word) come from this.
I look forward to seeing the disappointment of the anti-American brigade as this scheme continues to fail.

You probably won’t have much to look forward to...
Russia's energy dominance becomes a nothingburger if we go back to drill baby drill. The same with China's rare-earth dominance if we quit pretending that the Modern Warm Period is a bad thing or that "green tech" even does anything about it. Also if we mine and process the rare earths we have here in the U.S. (they're needed even if we don't force EV's and such onto folks).
So basically, BRICS will be ho-hum whenever we decide to get our act together.
whole lot of those BRICS members are 3rd-World countries with craphole economies ... then add in the dictatorships (Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba) and their bogus manufactured statistics ...
so it’s not looking good for BRICS already ...
let’s just say, the dollar won’t be under any threat anytime soon, LOL
“anti-American brigade”
I am a part of the anti-pervert brigade.
If US “leaders” choose the “make the world safe for perverts” path that is on them.
Time to hold QFS's beer.
LOL.
-> they (BRICS countries) can nationalize their resources, renounce their debt, and be free.
Easier said than done... ...their (BRICS) economies are intertwined with EUROPE-USA, decoupling from dollar will wreck havoc on them (BRICS countries).
Yes everyone will be on the QFS system. I predict that soon you will see Germany join and since Germany is the EU they will all shed their central banking system for QFS.
Supposedly the QFS system is already up here in the states and running in the background parallel to SWIFT. Trump has $4 quadrillion in repatriated gold to back it.
BRICS is doomed to fail. An association of corrupt governments can’t succeed because they’re eventually going to try to defraud each other.
Agree, but it is no picnic now.
This reserve banking conflict is one of the reasons WHY Russia attacked Ukraine. Their strategy was to overwhelm Ukraine and use the energy supply that runs through Ukraine to blackmail NATO nations to stay out of the planned takeover of Taiwan. However, Russia could not pull off the rapid takeover. Now they are stuck in a war that they can’t withdraw from without significant loss of internal power within Russia.
China has been forced to delay it’s actions with Taiwan, and Taiwan is hardening their island even more. Time for a rethink on at least the timeline for the BRICS take over, and perhaps even the actions of the plan.
China and Russia are economic basket cases.
You’ve got two nations in trouble who have conned 38 more basket case
nations to join them.
It’s ludicrous.
