People, even Democrats(and I use that term loosely) are getting tired of paying through the nose to just keep body and soul together.

Of course, they can. And they can lie about it without missing a beat.
Their margin-of-cheat is unlimited. Turning out to vote is a good start for us. But it will take a great deal more effort besides voting in order to put any Republican candidate in office.
Voter registrations in every State should be purged and voters required to re-register. Those registrations should expire automatically after a number of years unless renewed - just like driver's licenses do.
That would cut down the number of dead people, imaginary people, and ineligible people (illegal aliens) who are on the rolls now. It would make it harder to cheat using those names, and besides, they all "vote" for Democrats anyway.
Mail-in ballots? They are here to stay. We need to get our vote in as early as possible. We need teams to track the returns every day and target Republican voters who are lagging to get their vote in. Just like the Democrats are doing now. It is even legal and ethical for all parties to do this.
And we need full-time paid observers to watch every step in the chain of custody of those ballots when they are collected.
The USPS cannot be trusted to handle ballots, especially collecting them after they have been voted. There needs to be a lot more ballot collection boxes placed in locations with 24x7 surveillance and immediate response from armed police in case of incidents. The boxes must be collected multiple times every day.
The people who print ballots, cannot be trusted either. All of the print runs and deliveries must be audited continuously, and every ballot accounted for. No more last-minute deliveries of blanks that just "fell off a truck" somewhere.
Election officials cannot be trusted at all. Most of them are Democrats. See the earlier comment about the need for full-time paid observers at every step of the ballot handling. That includes being post inside the government offices. For the entire month or two before the election. It is not a job that can be done by unpaid volunteers.
We will need to invalidate the elections in six major Democrat-controlled cities and refuse to allow their States to send Electors to the Electoral college. Those "elections" have been blatantly fraudulent for years now, and the Democrats must be made to suffer for it.
Do I see any of these things happening? If not, then it will be "Democrats, all the way down".
That could happen at any time from purely natural causes which the powers-that-be cannot control. There are lots of scrambling and screaming behind-the-scenes about contingency plans for this possibility.
Why else would we have ever heard one thing unfavorable from the MSM about Hunter Biden or any other family member.
The cabal has not quite settled on the succession planning and different factions leak information they believe will help them direct the outcome in their favor.
