The really weird thing about America right now is that it is like one of those movies or novels where the police force is riddled with bent cops and the crime syndicate is wobbly with rats, informants, and undercover agents. No one knows who's who and everyone suspects everyone else.
The perimeter is a maze and reality is Swiss cheese.

Yeah, that’s going to do it! Just like government control has done for guns.

I haven't seen any rationing of those items, just a forced scarcity to drive up prices and drive down demand as the commies insist.
That seems more of “a frog in a pot of water on the stove heading to the boiling point” scenario. Seems to me most people just bitch about it and go along with their lives.
Take them away, that's a different path that the left isn't prepared to embark upon. Yet.
Now beer/alcohol. That's an entirely different subject that will tend to enrage young men to the point that their hot blood will push all reason aside and encourage attacking those who deny them their booze. I'd be very careful about trying that crap in today's society. The homies will turn on their dem masters quickly I'm thinking, and that's just the inner cities.
The good ol boys won't be liking that either, and with all the rest of the nonsense coming out of our government, I can easily see this as being a trigger.

Opened (seal broken) but stored with cap on; open to the air I would imagine that the alcohol content would evaporate fairly quickly

Beer. It's not just for breakfast any more.
The Mediterranean diet is associated with drinking wine with meals (with the possible exception of breakfast). The wine may be diluted (the ancient Greeks usually drank diluted wine).

Didn’t work the first time. Hub buys 1 case at the Navy Exchange, and drinks 1 per day.

Have to look into that. My hens just started laying, I’ve canned, and frozen everything I can, along with long-term items.

Well, the progressives were prohibitionists. Indeed. The 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th Amendments were all the brain-farts of "progressives".

The only publication of “SLAY” according to my search engine, is a Book of that name, written by a Brittany Morris, I believe, whose inspiration was a Black Panther.
Is there another SLAY?
