It’s a logistic challenge then just train pilots.
We are too many years away from 1945 and the men who came back unable to even speak about the slaughter they had seen. I was little but I remember “Don’t let it EVER happen again!”
And that was conventional warfare until the end.
The almost 80 years that have passed and the comparatively primitive weapons used make us think of it as moldy history and not an evil that can consume a population once again.
This is our last chance to trade in teenage belligerence for something higher. It can be done. Trump could have done it when it began and may even be able to do it now.
Hmm. I have employed people (Russian) who told me about staying in line for hours to buy groceries. Back in the 80s. They were recent immigrants to the US.
Also Moscow was better treated than elsewhere under the Soviet regime. Also probably true under this regime. On the matter of conscription call-ups say.
The truth is out there. But one won’t come close to it if one doesn’t understand the media, the MSM, or propaganda. Foreign media is a major corrective to US media. The British, Spanish and French press tends to run at cross purposes to the US. The Financial Times vs the WSJ, ABC or Figaro vs the NYT. Even Le Monde. And of course the Daily Mail will carry items the US MSM won’t, as we see on FR everyday.
And then there are the professional and trade journals. That’s why I predicted, accurately, that Europe wouldn’t “freeze in the dark”, and the collapse of natgas prices.
It takes work, to gain a sense of perspective. But it certainly is possible.
And historical perspective works.
Put yourself back in 1943. The BBC was extremely biased. Orwell took his perspective on propaganda, for the most part, from his wartime stint in the BBC.
But who would you have depended on, hunched over your crystal radio, for the truth, relative if not absolute, on the course of the war? The BBC or the Reichsrundfunk?
In this case you have preferred the Reichsrundfunk.

I would think a pilot proficient in gunnery, offensive/defensive maneuvering, radar and basic tactics could train in 3 to 4 months. Assumes program spun up on day one and sims/aircraft availability.
A civ pilot transitioning to another comparable craft goes through a course of less than a month. Another month needed for what I just stated and a couple months for gobt incompetence and inefficiency should just about do it.
Is it normal for foreign pilots to be training at a National Guard base?

My guess is these pilots will become part of whichever military organization trains them and/or work directly for NATO.
Ukraine itself is gonna be demilitarized one way or another.

If Canada were to join the BRICs and align itself with China and Russia, the first thing we would get is a GAE created “Color Revolution” and have a Canadian Zelensky installed.
Same with Mexico.
