The iPads need it too
It worked on the Xr but needed about an hour most of it was preparing update
Ah, there's the difference. The XR has the A12 chip, but the iPhone 8 and iPhone X have the A11 chip.
iOS 17 will probably work on the XR and XS, but the update doesn't even show up on my iPhone 8 or my wife's iPhone X.
I guess so I thought I had the cheaper version but wanted to make sure to specify it was Xr
Cheaper in that it has a single camera, but better in that it has a newer chipset.
iwatch 10.0 has been released today as well with different Watch related updates
My wife and I have I13’s and they haven’t been bad phones. We initially started with Iphone 7’s and then an XR. Out of the bunch the 7 and XR were far better phones than the 13.
Right now I am content to run the 13 into the ground. The only reason I left the XR was my provider offered the 13 for free on an ungrade.
The watch update is nice even the weather is all spiced up looks great 👍🏻
