Federal Revenues in 2015 4 Trillion, in 2022 4.9 trillion.

National Debt in 2015 18 Trillion, in 2022 31 Trillion.

That's about the summation of it. National Debt is gonna force a whole bunch of nations into the New World Order. And everyone else will do it too, because it's so ..... "cool" - They'll have to have a jubilee or something and get the world on a single currency - (IMHO) - Bet it will be a Digital World Currency for ........ Global Citizens. Then, "the fun" really begins...

Because it is mostly owed to old people in the USA.
Pensioners, people that think they have pensions from the governments, Social security, and Medicare users.

Why should the media worry about "fair and balanced" reporting on this or any topic, when they know we will still pour money into their coffers with our TV subscriptions for the privilege of being entertained by them?

I think if you did what you are proposing we would go crazy even more.

Even though, as you say, we are paying $800B a year in interest there is some sort of morality that is at the least keeping you somewhat honest. Throw away that record of your incredible spending, in essence, killing any penalty for your bad behavior and the printing press will be running even faster and Inflation will escalate 10 times faster. So, I think it is more a psychological issue that I am bringing up.

If you wanted to "burn it to the ground", which is actually some people's plan, it would work well. Kind of like making an addict hit rock bottom.
