Begging your pardon, but -- it doesn't?
What you're saying is not true, in my experience. It is exactly opposite. Let anyone ask a pharmacist, computer code writer, or professional journal publisher, let alone the profit-focused CEO or a company making and seeling engineered products.
But I will say that the speedy conduct needed to write comments on FR in time to likely have them read is prone to hasty errors. I do it here all the time, not bending as much editing effort as really needed before punching the "Sewnd" button. That won't do in a highly technical business or research atmosphere.

I was alluding to the fact that the commonly encountered, highly technical poor spellers typically have others check their spelling for them.
