You might be innocent until proven guilty, but companies often don’t want to be associated with you while your situation winds its way through the courts. Same thing happened to Jared from Subway (guilty), Kevin Spacey in multiple projects (acquitted), and plenty of others. Companies don’t care if you haven’t been found guilty yet, they care what it means to their corporate image to keep giving you money while you’re making bad headlines.
