Michelle would be a long shot, basically no elective office experience and no international experience and no economic experience.
I think Trump’s proven economic experience and the Bidenomics collapse of our economy will rule out a neophyte.
If she’s their nominee, it tells the world that the Dems are panicked like never before that Trump will win AND that they have no bench and not a single qualified elected official that could win. That’s admitting alot and Michelle would be a hail mary.
Which is why I think it will be Newsome/Whitmer

Well, besides sitting on her fat posterior, she hasn’t done anything, but...same could be said for a gazillion other politicians, some who have actually run for President and won along with many who have lost, so...never say never.

The Washington elite and the media think that she is wildly popular. I wonder about that. She comes across as unlikable and bitter despite all of the advantages she has enjoyed.

Trump beat a much more politically astute white woman in 2016, putting a novice black woman against him in 2024 seems stupid.
I hope they try it because it’s a huge gamble.
If we’re now just electing presenters and not actual serious CEOs of the USA then MO is qualified IMO. She can stand up and give a speech and everyone will feel how great they are for electing a black woman as POTUS. Nevermind the fact that she has shown zero qualifications to actually run anything but her mouth and certainly not a job like POTUS used to be.
If MO wins then the responsibilities of the POTUS are just a mirage covering up those actually pulling the strings - in her case mostly rich rat donors.

I don’t agree with the theory she would easily beat Predident Trump. But it is best to plan for all eventualities. Republican Trump surrogates with denianility should begin sliming Michelle Obama immediately and inform the electorate that if they were disappointed by Bidenomics and foreign and border policies that they will get that again and more from Baraks wife. Hard ND merciless it would be. No dice.
But you miss the key point the GOP doesn’t want Trump either..
