This forum skews old. If figure it's a safe bet that for every one FReeper who passes away and gets a RIP thread and his/her name on the FR Memorial Wall, there's gotta be 50 who just simply pass away. Their family didn't know enough to notify the community and nobody on FR knew them in real life to be informed of their passing, or even knew what their real names were.
So, yeah, there's a lot of people who have disappeared from this place. Maybe some got fed up. Maybe some got bored. Many, I'm certain, have passed away with no notice here from their next of kin.
A lot of them moved on to get away from the trolls and some still read here but gave up posting for that same reason, sometimes some of us get freepmails from posters who we don’t know and who haven’t posted for years, they choose not to expose themselves to the constant childish nastiness and attacks and frivolousness by a little tribe of trolls here but thank us for making a point or introducing some facts or logic, or exposing some internet fakery that is delivered here so excitedly.
