“Rivian Loses $33,000 for Every Electric Pickup Sold”

Doesn’t matter, the point is to SEND A MESSAGE.

The company reportedly loses an average of $33,000 for every truck it sells.

It's okay, because they can make up the losses with volume sales, and most importantly...

with the feel-good emotion they get by supporting the green agenda.

You know, there are hundreds of real nice pretty cars on lots around here. Course most of them have 100000+ miles on them.

So if I go to a bank and say my business plan includes selling a product that loses money...

If our woke masters are going to eliminate the gas engine autos that we like, we should probably get serious about hoarding them to ourselves.

Hard to imagine, ain’t it? Personally, I think those things are ugly.

I know! They look great! The Lucid sedan is gorgeous too.

I’m not sure either company will be round in a couple years.

Speaking of electrics, Tesla is on the brink of finally marketing what has to be the ugliest US-made car since the Pontiac Aztek:

The Cybertruck.

But they make it up on volume? (old joke)

Just like Solyndra. These companies will make a product as long as someone will pay them. Once the government spigot goes dry, they will stop. Just last month a German car manufacturer announced they were halting production of 2 EV models. Buried in the article was the information that government subsidies had ceased. There is no market for these contraptions. If and when private equity invests, then there might be a market.

Private equity has invested in an incredible number of dot.com losers.

There are a few famous ones, but most of them just quietly fell into the dustbin of history.

The important point to focus on is the percentage of Rivian executives, investors and employees who identify as LGBTQIA+.

Obviously this means that they need more government subsidies. The free market is unfair and racist and hates gay people. The government can cure all this they just have enough tax dollars.

Their HQ is just down the street from my office. When they first came out, they were all over the place, like instantly.
Guessing they had employees, friends, and family members drive them.

Then Ford dumped all of their Rivian stock. Since that time, the only time I see them, is at the freeway off ramp, by their place, one or two, at the beginning and end of the work day.

They seem to be imploding . . .

If the “market leader” loses $33K on each vehicle it manufacturers, what does that say about “the market?”

It actually sounds like they’re scoring a golf tournament. The one with the most negative score wins, or something....

The Green Energy push is not about environmentalism, or making the earth a better place to live.
The entire modern world is totally dependent on electricity. Without it, we’re back to the year 1850 again, and the radical lefties know this.
The Green Energy push is designed to rid the world of private companies like the so-called ‘Big Oil’, and replace them with Green Energy wind mills and solar energy, none of which can stand on its own feet as a profit making enterprise. They are totally reliant on government subsidies, which puts the radical left in government in control of ALL energy, the most powerful instrument ever devised to enforce compliance to very unsavory and very radical left wing policies, almost certainly against the will of the energy consumers.
Total control is ALWAYS the goal of the radical left, always, always, always. They have to be stopped and the phony Green Energy movement exposed for what it is, a very diabolical scheme and already underway as the “Great Reset”.
TRUMP 2024 for sure.

But they’ll make it up with volume, right? Hahaha. Rivians are butt-ugly, and the two I’ve seen driving down the road were driven by people who thought the rules of the road didn’t apply to them.

It says Adam Clark’s “hidden” factor is no longer a hand. It’s a government subsidy.
