These people are really, really, really scared that Trump will return to the White House.
You have to ask yourself, “Why”? Trump was not a bad President, not by any metric. Except for the fact that he pulled by the curtain on so many lies by the left and the media and exposed them for all that were willing to take a look. To them, that was “bad”. (I personally think Trump was the best President ever in modern times). The lies they tell about how bad Trump was for our nation is just so over the top, it would be funny if not so scary.
What were they so afraid of that they couldn’t just sit back for four, or even eight years, and let him do his thing? Even if elected again in 2024, he can only serve four years. What they are scared of being revealed must be so much worse than anything we can imagine.
The media went after President Trump in 2018 because he didn't take Marine One to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial in Belleau, France for a memorial service due to bad weather. He was advised, by the Secret Service not to make the flight, and that taking the 1 1/2 hour trip to, and 1 1/2 hour trip back from the cemetery would be a logistical nightmare, so the trip was cancelled. Mike Pompeo was also told not to take the trip, and he didn't. On that visit, Trump was demeaned by a member of Parliament, and relation of Winston Churchill, people in the press, U.S. government officials, and of course the Democrats, denigrated him for not attending. There were claims then that he made disparaging remarks about the dead military members.
I remember specifically reading an article that General Kelly was asked about the trip, and Trump's comments. Kelly was on that same trip, and took the 3 hour round-trip limo ride to the cemetery for the memorial service. He said at that time that he was not aware of Trump having said anything negative about the war dead on that trip, and that the Secret Service had cancelled the flight and limo trip for the President.
They dragged this crap out in 2018, 2020, 2022, and again now. They didn't get any traction the first three times they brought it up, so why should it be believed now? Kelly is like a whore who decides she's going to claim she was sexually assaulted 20 years before, and is coming out now about it, just to get media coverage, a book deal, or both.
If the morons had just let Trump's 2020 win occur, and they didn't sink to stealing the election away from him, he'd only have a little over a year left in his last term. But they were stupid, and are now shitting bricks because they opened up a big can of whoop ass, that is now coming back to bite them, hopefully, for the next five years.

Kelly lost a son in the war, so I assume he is a BITTER sad man.
My sympathies to Col. Kelly. I have no children, but I’ve known several people who have lost their children for one reason or another. Some of them are forever changed, and in a continual state of pain. I can only imagine what its like to live that way. Some conceal that hurt better than others.
But he turned to the EVIL WAR MONGERING SIDE!

This is where we are headed, not to lawfare, but to murder and then the guy being held up for praise.
Old soldiers need to fade away, not live on in advisory roles, paid consultants and Media talking heads. I have a suggestion, when you retire, you permanently lose your title. Nobody goes around calling a Lietenant by his title, nor Captain. For that matter, why do we call Congressmen and Senators by their FORMER titles? They are just men and women, and we raise them up at our peril.
I insist people address me as Major, as that was my rank when I was discharged.
People still address me by my rank, but in conjunction with other names, such as Major PITA, Major FUBAR, etc.
That is a weakness in Trump, he misunderstands his position of power. People don’t love him, they just fall in line. Friends are EXTREMELY RARE, and even family will stab you in the back, explaining divorces.
