How do you expel a duly elected person when he has t committed a crime?

Republicans in the House could have actually done their primary job and in the 9 months that they had the majority, they could have come up with a fiscally responsible balanced budget, one that didn’t increase the deficit, no BS money on researching booze and Chinese hookers, one that the people could support.
Done it all without any I out from the democrats.
Presented it and then let the Democrats, the crooks in the Senate and Biden shoot it down.
They could have made themselves legit.

Any republican that votes with the Democrats to expel Matt Gaetz is going to lose their primary and, if they survive the primary, they will lose the general election.

How can Gaetz be expelled for using a procedure that McCarthy himself agreed to when he begged for Gaetz’s vote in the first place?
How about Jordan calling for votes to boot rinos as soon as he is elected Speaker?

Matt Gaetz voted with every Democrat to essentially give them the majority, which makes him a RINO.
He cannot be trusted. His district can do better but timing is important.

Anyone surprised by this, if it’s true, doesn’t understand politics at all
McCarthy admitted that he was in a secret alliance with Pelosi. She was supposed to protect him from ouster with all the Democrat votes. (The one-member Motion to Vacate thing was supposed to be a scam on the Freedom Caucus.) The Democrats flipped and backed the Gaetz action, and this is why Pelosi was kicked out of her office.
McCarthy was the leader (or figurehead) of a political machine. This is why many of his enemies did not vote against him. This is why the ouster is a big deal. It is like voting out McConnell from the Senate leadership.
I saw an announcement Gaetz’s father running for something.. Can’t remember what, but thought he must want to give son some help on Washington.
