They aren’t coming to Texas anymore because Bidenskyyyyy is flooding the state with illegal aliens in an effort to turn Texas lavender for his Jamaican, Paki and Indian girlfriends and refugee “judges”.

“I just don’t understand the whole “next president” thing.”

Democrats are like the woman who always falls for the handsome smooth talker who turns out to be a real asshole. Not sure what happened with Biden because only the asshole part applys.

I think it’s a plot really. The folks leaving Cali would overwhelmingly be Democrat voters. What make you think they’ll be changing their way? It’s kind of odd that they’re infiltrating predominantly swing states.

Yeah. Almost like it's planned. Maybe it is a plan.

Yep, the wife was in a Florida airport a few weeks ago and while waiting to board the aircraft overheard a Michigan restaurant owning couple commenting on how they thought Gavin Newsome looked/sounded like an “intelligent nice guy” or something similar. Not aware of his SF or CA record I guess?

California is now a crappy place. So many people leaving. He’s not a good governor and he’s a nut. But he seems to be the “anointed one” who may magically get 100 million ballots if the Democrats end up running him next year.

Because he has nice hair. Ever since Kennedy, the candidate with the nicer hair always wins.

Even more proof that Trump won in 2020.

Which is more proof that the DemonicRats stole the election this last time. Not that Trump has nice hair, but better than Biden’s.

—> California has the best weather in the world,

Lots of Californians moving to Portugal - they skew liberal.

Weather is pretty identical.

It was bad enough with the poisonous snakes, the snakes that eat other snakes and the just plain snakes, but we also have spiders - Tarantulas, Black Widows, Brown Recluse to name a few that hide in every closet and under your car seat (even rental cars), but then God added fire ants so nasty they attack, kill and eat scorpions! Oh, did I forget to mention the scorpions?
No sane person would move to Texas (but I hear Florida is nice).

Arizona election system is corrupted, Florida has come very close in that regard but the issue with Florida may just be the distance from California. For a Californicator to move to Florida requires skipping over all the other closer states inbetween, some of which have a lot of good features for a new life, home.

“Also, of course, 1960 is when Hawaii had dueling electoral slates for the first time in US history-oddly ofc no prosecutions resulted.”

There were “dueling slates” of electors in the disputed 1876 election.

“Electors cast their ballots in state capitals on December 6, 1876. Generally, the process went smoothly but in four capitals—Salem, Oregon; Columbia, South Carolina; Tallahassee, Florida; and New Orleans, Louisiana—two sets of conflicting electors met and voted so that the US Congress received two sets of conflicting electoral votes. At this point, Tilden had 184 electoral votes while Hayes had 165 with 20 votes still disputed.

“The Constitution stipulates that the electoral votes be directed to the President of the Senate who was Republican Thomas W. Ferry. Although Republicans argued that he had the right to decide which votes to count, Democrats disagreed and argued that the Democratic majority in Congress should decide. A compromise was reached, and on January 29, 1877, the Electoral Commission Act established a commission of five senators (three Republicans, two Democrats), five representatives (three Democrats, two Republicans), and five Supreme Court justices (two Republicans, two Democrats, and one independent) to decide which votes to count and resolve the dispute. However, the independent Supreme Court justice refused to serve on the commission and was replaced by a Republican justice.
