That goes on their writers’ and editors’ list of sins. The deaths of innocent Israelis at home or at work by sneak attacks was wrong and started this. Enabling and praising the Hamas killers and insulting the Israelis is wrong.

Only a heartless, inhumane monster would celebrate dead civilians in any conflict. But the way the AP and much of the world has suddenly started promoting - its as if the Palestinians are innocent as a people group. That couldn’t be farther from the truth.
1 - Israel did not start this round.
2 - Israel has suffered countless attacks for many decades, and always submitting to international (especially US) pressure to use restraint -
3 - Some of us remember the heartbreaking scenes of Jewish settlers who PURCHASED land, forcibly removed form their homes to give the land to the Palestenians in Gaza (and the West Bank).
4 - We can remember real history, when Isreal turned over several areas to the Palestinians to self-rule.
5 - we remember the Palestinians ELECTING (complete with international observers) Hamas and the PLO to be their government leadership. They CHOSE terrorists.
6- We can look at October 7 and men, women, children, and infants tortured, terrorized, raped, slaughtered - even burned alive.
Israel absolutely has had the right to defend itself all along. They warned repeatedly that they would be coming in to Gaza to destroy Hamas. They warned civilians to evacuate towards the South to avoid civilian casualties.
Yet here we are -
Add in the media and many independents helping to spread wild false narratives and flat-out lies. Many in the world STILL believe that Israel bombed a hospital - even though no hospital was hit at all... and the explosion in the parking lot/courtyard... was from a rocket launched by Islamic Jihad... But details and facts don’t seem to matter.
Israel STILL is not targeting civilians - but they are the inevitable collateral damage when the enemy hide behind (and literally UNDER) civilians.
Love Israel or hate them - they are NOT in the wrong.

But launching rockets at Israeli funerals weeks ago was apparently okay.
