well, I never got on the right bus when they were handing out cushy jobs but we have to remember that our dear govt workers....all of them of every stripe....enjoy massive benefits and great wages and early pensions and the UAW are just trying to catch up...
so we're driving my husbands mothers car that she gave us....2005 subaru legacy and has under 70000 miles on it...we've got a tahoe with lots of miles and a pickup with lots of miles....
doubt we'll ever be able to buy a brand new car again in our lives....so be it...
