Montauk is not even one of the wealthier communities in East Hampton Township. Wainscott, the Village of East Hampton, Ammagansett, and Sag Harbor are all wealthier. Montauk is full of rentals and motels. It's were young New Yorkers party in the Hamptons. It isn't tony.
