So basically, to Meghan, God is a genie that grants wishes.
I don’t watch women’s soccer anymore, but if I did, and i saw that happen...I can definitely tell that “thing” that God does in fact answer prayer. She is a horrible human being.
Those of us who believe in God tend to differ. We saw this as evidence there IS a God.
And also evidence that God has a sense of humor!

My dad wanted me to thank God when good things happened. So I asked him if I did that, could I also curse him when things went badly. He said no.

Geez, Megan! Welcome to my world: Achilles tendon problems, plantar fasciitis, strained glutes, bad hip, etc. And yet, God is still there, and He is still good. Maybe you should talk to Him instead of hating America.
Many people don’t use social media, and would feel exactly the same about that shrill, bitter, harpy whether the Internet existed or not, do I disagree with those who think this is all Internet driven.
Whether she believes in God or the concept of this Republic (which she clearly does not in either case) is her business, but whether people want her to have any kind of public role in influencing anyone, especially young people, is their business, and their feelings on this may be expressed in any way.
She is a cancer, and cancer must be fought root and branch.
We cannot bar her from competition in a non-Olympic, private endeavor, as that is not our preferred way of doing things, but we should belittle her in any way that can be done, via logic, via humor, whatever.

It’s kind of odd, she was given every opportunity to excel, she excelled... and then she took what could have been a position of great influence and used it for hate and loathing. I would think God would be displeased in the waste that she made out of the gift and opportunity she was presented with.

Just think, lf the day when she will kneel and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. There will be a hot time in the old town that night for her afterwards.
And when I die, I expect to find Him laughing.
I watched the statement and while smiling, I felt she was serious to a great degree. Taking the Lord’s name in vane is something we all should consider more.
