Our community is now 2/3 “South Asian.” Very little assimilation. I was Colonel Sanders on Halloween. Several adults asked me, “Who are you?”, while I was handing out candy from a KFC bucket.-
Wouldn’t bother me a bit if the entire H1B program was shut down.

The really difficult problem facing Israel is that Hamas faithfully represents the wishes of a large majority of the Palestinian Arabs, and getting rid of Hamas will not change those homicidal wishes. I have the impression that there was a much higher percentage of innocent civilians in Nazi Germany than in Gaza.

I have a pitbull I need to rehome. I’m the 5th owner, and adopted him despite the fact that he mauled a friend or family member at each of his first 4 homes. Well, yesterday he mauled a couple neighbor kids, so he’s got to go. Can anyone please take in this wonderful dog. He’s really cute, super loving and fetches my slippers. He just needs the right owner, so please let me know asap.
