Worst Pope, ever!!
Pope Francis is happy you left. He is clearly trying to push all the faithful Catholics out of the Church as quickly as possible. It is obvious that he wants a schism. The final battle of good verses evil is at hand, and you have left the castle of Christ's mystical body. However, for now you can still get back in any time you want through the open door of the sacrament of penance. I will pray that God will bless someone who has shown himself to be as insightful and funny as you with the grace and humility to come home before it is too late.
Jesus doesn’t wear Nikes Mr.phoney pope.
That's not the case with "evangelical" Christian churches like mine, which also tend to be the churches that are growing. Evidently there are many Christians in America that like messages of right and wrong.
I was raised Catholic and this person is not only anti American but does not represent me at all and never will!
I claim he is the Fraud!
Says the one who doesn’t understand sarcasm.
There are mentally ill people who think animals are telling them to kill. Many, if not most of them have severe issues with brain chemistry. I'm not sure what your point is?
But the money still flows into the Vatican though, right benito?
I’m not sure what your point is?

I think you do, but I’ll reiterate it. There are people who profess to have personal relationships with God who claim, sincerely or otherwise, that He has instructed them to commit acts that civilized people consider inhumanly barbaric. The Church was FOUNDED by Jesus Christ to teach, to govern, and to sanctify the human race. He did that because God created man with the power of FREE WILL, i.e., the power to do good OR to do evil.
the “catholic” church ....you’d think is big enough for all of us...
its peculiar he can find space and time for the LGBTQ crowd but nothing but criticism for faithful Catholics
this all seems like a parody...or a bad caricature
Thanks. You left. I choose to stay and fight. It is very difficult for me, but I do pray for the Pope.
Yes, God gave human beings free will, as self-determining individuals with the ability to choose to give love, or not - including whether or not to love God. You cannot receive true love from an automaton, or someone you force into ‘loving’ you. God wants us to love God, but by our own choice. This is the only way it can be real - for us and for God.
That said, each love is unique, as is each person. It’s very personal, and each of us has a unique and personal relationship with God.
That’s not to say that there are not absolutes, or that God is whatever people want God to be. God is God. That said, despite our best intentions and efforts we are not capable as mortal human beings, with all or our limitations, to understand the immense totality of God.
As such, we are little like the three blind men and the elephant, each describing what an elephant is on the basis of what they personally perceive in the context of their blindness.
So, if your point is that the only way to experience God is though the ‘guidance’ of a formalized organization, like the Roman Catholic Church, then we have very different views. I respect your opinion.
Regarding the Church, like with all things in which mortal human beings are involved, it is corruptible. There have been Popes who had mistresses, had people killed, and who used the papacy as a vehicle to personal power and riches. As a mortal human, even Peter, the Rock upon which Christ proclaimed he would build his Church, was a flawed person who was vulnerable to sin.
Me too. This Pope is no Catholic he was appointed the task of destroying the church.
“How much wealth is the Vatican sitting on?”
Not nearly as much now since Trump took every ounce of the gold several years ago.
Regarding the Church, like with all things in which mortal human beings are involved, it is corruptible.

Of course, yet despite that fact and all others you allude to the Lord Himself established the Church and He explained why he did so. That seems to me to be a very good reason NOT to ignore the teachings of His Church. It’s the same sort of error that’s made by the Christians who proclaim that “me and my understanding of my Bible” is the alpha and omega of the story of my salvation.
Nonsense.
“Nonsense”
Why do you think last August the Pope gave the Holy See and all connected entities just 30 days to move all financial assets to the Vatican Bank? 😏
