We said that weeks ago. Fill them with sea water and destroy all their munitions and weapons. flush them out and shoot them as they stick their heads up for air. Now that, is how you get rid of rats.

Fill the tunnel up with CS (riot control) gas. No one suffers permanent injury and the enemies will behave like silly putty.
Our last direct encounters with enemy tunnels in Vietnam was to send in tunnel rats*. After they came out we put in plenty of explosives and blew the tunnels up. Now we use high tech and lob smart bombs into them.
The Russians fill the tunnels up with diesel fuel and then torch em.
* tunnel rats are usually the smallest troops available. They are mostly armed with only a .45 cal pistol and a flashlight.

At this point it must be assumed that most, if not all, of the hostages are dead and that cannot hold up military action.
Flood out the Hamas tunnel rats. This looks more like a threat to me. To cow and demoralize Hamas killers. Make them give up and surrender before they drown, like waterlogged rats. This way you get the maximum hostages returned.
Islam says that Muzzies automatically go to allah’s fake heaven when they die in Jihad on the battlefield. This is a great incentive to be fearless and die in Jihad. These dummies actually believe this sheeeeit. But there is no allah’s heaven for them with 72 virgins (girls or boys) when they drown like rats. Instead, they go directly to a special hell the IDF has reserved for them.
But if the IDF does this flooding, sounds like a great plan to me.

I would bet that a large percentage of remaining hostages are dead already. Hamas ran out of women and children to trade.
