It sounds unconstitutional, but probably isn't. Government power has been permitted much growth by the Supreme Court, especially since the New Deal.

A business sells what is profitable. That's the free market. Demanding that a business sell unprofitable items is hard to justify. Things like dolls are art. The government can't compel anyone to make art that doesn't sell.

Newsome can use civil rights, or even protecting the mental health of children, as legal justification.

That's just a legal fig leaf. Since no one wants to buy what he is pushing, it's hard to regulate a market that doesn't exist.

And even if they had a case for overturning this law, retailers wouldn't bother. Cheaper to just create gender neutral sections than to hire expensive attorneys.

A small mom and pop place might challenge the law with support from the religious or conservatives. The law is an ass. So, it should get challenged.

(Gov. Gavin Newsom’s pro-LGBTQ bill.)

So, Democrat Gavin Newsom is a Godless Reprobate pushing a godless reprobate agenda. As expected.

(Another step closer to Government stores.)

Insightful. World Government Digital Currency combined with New World Order Government (Daniel 7:23)and only Government and/or Government-approved stores - especially grocery stores. Sounds like a perfect recipe for what's going to happen.

2. Female
3. Other

My wife watches Lego Masters. Plenty of good construction done by women teams. As good as the guys!

Lego's just trying to stay ahead of the lawsuits?

Death of the country if Newsom is anywhere near leadership. Look at California.

He is antifa.

Kids play with whatever they can make into a toy. My boys used sticks, till they got their first toy guns. My granddaughter loves the trucks, cars, my sewing supplies, no interest in dolls. Likes to play Vet to the dogs. Wants a farm with mini horses, cows, and goats. Feeds my Hens.

Wait till she sees the toy compound bow I got her!

If only they weren’t checking DNA at each aisle to ensure you could only shop based on genetic sex. /s

Bay Area may see its first LGBTQ+ Capitol Hill rep in Evan Low (yahoo.com)

About Low: The Chinese American candidate is a five-term assemblyman and former Campbell councilman. He was initially elected in 2014 to District 28 and later redistricted to District 26, which encompasses Cupertino, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale and the Fruitdale area of San Jose. In the 2022 election, he secured victory against Republican Tim Gorsulowsky with a substantial margin, winning 74% to 26%.

Low, who spent his formative years in San Jose, graduated from San Jose State University before entering politics. He won a seat on the Campbell City Council in 2006. Notably, he became the first Asian American on the council and made history as the youngest openly LGBTQ+ mayor in the country at 26, four years later. He could be the Bay Area's first openly gay representative in Washington, D.C., if elected in this race.

HMMMmmm...

Just WHERE, exactly...

I remember as a child shopping with my mother at Child World and being scarred for life due to having to walk down an entire aisle of dolls in order to get where my Hot Wheels were.
