I did make it to the office and back, BUT, the report of snow TOMORROW, was false. It was snowing when I got up and continued to snow all day....gently, but at least 3 inches. I drove very carefully and slowly. The berm at the side of my lane was annoying as it made me fishtail. Everything is white...the road, the berms at the side, the sky, and the view straight ahead. Not fun.

Then the postage machine wouldn’t do its job...it kept saying I needed a department, which I gave it, but then it said you need to sync. Sync WHAT?? I finally just left them at the front desk with a note to please add postage and mail them.

I dug out, easily, to the mailbox, and it has already filled back in.

Howdy, luvie.

Did it cool off as much as you expected today?

We got more than we bargained for up here!

Hey there, radu!

Yes, it only got up to 58, and it was breezy so felt a bit cooler for most of the day. Right now it’s 38. WAY cooler than the same time last night!

I’ve been hearing about the drama over there all day. I hope it has kept well away from your area so you don’t have to spend hours picking up tree debris!

It snowed again today? Drat! I haven’t checked the Lake Hood cam and had no clue. I’ve had my eyes on TN weather since I woke up.
Glad you were able to get to and from the office in one piece. It doesn’t sound like it was a fun drive at all.

Is this snow light and fluffy or is it a wet, heavy one? I hope it’s the former since you have to dig out your path AGAIN. *sigh*

I hope whoever goes to the office Monday doesn’t have trouble with the postage machine so that stuff can be mailed.

I’m glad too! I was concerned as the tornado moved towards town because my sister lives there. But it went across the north side of town and she lives in the south side.

I don’t know how big it was but those that ripped through the north part of the state were monsters.

Sadly, there are 6 confirmed deaths but the number could rise as they comb through all the devastation. :-(

Yep, that’s quite a bit cooler alright. LOL Pretty much what we’ll do tonight now that the front has moved through.

The majority of the drama stayed well north but the last tornado of the day passed maybe 12 miles from here.
Just rain and some lightning here, which is just fine! We’ll have rain - sometimes light, sometimes heavy - for a while. YAY!

Tornadoes...BAD.

Rain....GOOD and the face that you’re having more than you expected is even better. I know you were watching the chasers VERY closely today. Why, you could have ridden along with Reed. He was in your ‘hood. Not close, but close enough. LOL!

Tomorrow’s high will be a bit cooler than it was today. I just hope the wind dies out. I’m gonna want to sleep in tomorrow morning....and tough on me. :)

I’m waiting for midnight so I can dump the gauge and see how much rain’s in there so far. There’ll be more when I wake up tomorrow.

No, I wasn’t watching chasers today. I had Ryan Hall up the whole time, and he does have several chasers on his team whose streams he shows.
Watching his stream is how I knew that last tornado didn’t hit my sister’s side of town. She lives on the south side and the tornado went through the north side.

We’ll be cold tomorrow and Monday. 43 tomorrow and 48 Monday and it’ll be windy tomorrow. brrrrrrrr

Good evening, Kathy! I hope you have a blessed Sunday, too! And I hope you have a non-crazy work week. Are you getting more snow and ice or has it sort of tapered off for now?

How much rain did you get? I’m very curious. I hope it was enough to do some real good.

I’m going to finish up this true crime show I’m watching and head to the barn. I don’t want to destroy my phone in the morning when the alarm goes off. LOL! See ya tomorrow evening. I hope the tornado threat has now passed. I haven’t heard anything from the chasers for a while.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Did the cooler weather make Gizmo friskier than usual yesterday? Did he wear you out by the time you left? LOL

There was 1.6 inch in the gauge. It’s still raining lightly so there’ll be a little more tomorrow. I’m happy to get that much. Now if we can just get more of this this month - - minus the tornados.

The last tornado was around 8:00 tonight so the threat’s been over for hours.

Sleep well and be kind to your alarm in the morning. Catch ya tomorrow.
