If I were Donald Trump, the day after winning the election upcoming, I would be hyper aware of various things.

1) The Swamp wants me out, or dead, either is fine with them.

2) I have to get sworn in. I’m not yet. The Swamp will be looking for a way to obstruct that.

3) I plan to eradicate the Swamp, but that won’t happen unless and until I am put into that office.

Therefore, I have to make sounds suggesting I am co-opted. I must make phone calls to the RNC and ask for suggested names to nominate for various positions. I will even announce this publicly, saying that names will be coming in from RNC.

I will invite McCarthy to come have dinner to discuss him taking over a very senior job like Secy of State or Treasury.

Then time will pass with the media talking about all the Swamp filth I have invited to dinner to talk about senior Admin positions. And come Jan 20, I will have filled no positions. All I will have done is — as all presidents usually do — ask for the resignations of all US attorneys at DOJ. Nothing else. The press will be screaming that on day of inauguration there is no Administration in place and how outrageous this is.

I will then make interim appointments that are not confirmed by the Senate. McCarthy will never hear another word from me.

And the Drainage will begin.
