Conservatives need to accept political reality.

We are a minority - probably a permanent minority - since so many Conservatives support massive legal immigration, or are indifferent to massive legal immigration.

Immigrants vote 70%-75% Democrat, and their American born children vote 65%-70% Democrat.

The most successful immigrant group in the USA - Asian Indian Americans - votes 75%-80% Democrat!

Immigrant voter patterns have NOT changed in the last 40 years.

Politically, USA Conservatives have two options...

"Soft" Secession, which no one really knows how to do.

Or, make peace with the Republican Party, which is the only way to gain political majorities that can create limited real world change.

Sorry, beg to differ.

DJT will put Op Wetback to shame.

Former President Donald Trump has outlined a radical shift in U.S. immigration policy if he's elected president again in 2024, vowing to implement a slew of unprecedented measures targeting both legal and unauthorized immigrants, including a massive deportation blitz.

Worse IMO, renewal of warrantless surveillance on citizens.

Money laundering with the pretense of National Defense.

It’s a big party and the taxpayer isn’t invited

Is this a “news” article or is it an op-ed?

Matt Gaetz is a bit like Donald Trump. He is already independently wealthy. So he’s not corrupted.

I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020.

I will vote for him in 2024.

Immigration?

Trump is better than Biden, but worse than Obama.

In Trump's first three years (before Covid) Trump naturalized more new citizens, Trump issued more Green Cards, and Trump issued more foreign work visas, than Obama did in Obama's last three years.

The Wall?

Zero progress after one year in office. A fraction of progress by the 2018 midterm.

Trump sent woke, career, Trump-hating, DHS lawyers to argue his case in Court.

For two years, every time someone asked about The Wall, Trump shrugged his shoulders and blamed the Courts.

Why do they make them so long? Is that specifically to discourage people from reading these bills so other crap can be sneaked in? Absolutely this should be stopped, it’s criminal.

Like that evil effin pig Queen of demons Nancy Pelosi, “You have to pass the bill to see what’s in it” Right there she should have been indicted for fraud.

They indict Trump for merely questioning a POTUS election just like Democrats do EVERY ELECTION they lose, but Pelosi can scam congress? What the hell?

Re: "Never seen before"

There has been relentless Hard Left lawfare since the 1960s.

There was NO one among Trump's 2016-2017 executive appointments who had any interest in building The Wall.

That tells you everything you need to know about Trump's sincerity.

If Conservatives like me had not started shouting about Trump's feckless immigration efforts, there would have been no progress at all in 2018.

agree to disagree. I’ve personally been the brunt of lawfare by a govt agency and it’s not easy.

Why does anyone have to be labeled “FAR RIGHT” if they strive for personal privacy and ceasing indiscriminate bulk collection and storage of everything everyone says, reads, thinks, or does? Has anyone challenged this crap in court? Griswald v Connecticut (use of contraceptives) and Roe v Wade (abortion) centered on the fundamental RIGHT TO PRIVACY. Now a “Patriot” Act sweeps it all away? Help!
