Trump’s saying that foreign countries emptying prisons and mental institution and sending them to the US is “poisoning the blood of our country” is an excellent description and in line with the Obama/Biden transformation of America.

While stupidity could account for some of this... I think it is actually dangerous to assume they all are.
They don’t care if they are factually wrong, as long as “their side” has something they can use to hit out at us with. “Our” side isn’t exactly free of this as well.

Ooooops! I read the ENTIRE interview at the link below, and did misunderstand that point. I linked to the sorter article here. But the book was a gift and Trump kept it in a cabinet in the bedroom, not at the ready right by the lamp table next to the bed. Thanks for setting the record straight.
