Who funded all those miles of tunnels and thousands of rockets? My guess is the US, and other well-meaning irresponsible donors, gave lots of aid money that paid for the weapons and faciclities used to attack Israel.
Hamas spent hundreds of millions on weapons/tunnels while the people of Gaza lived in grinding poverty. Did the people of Gaza know it? Almost certainly — how could they not? did they approve, or were they intimidated? I’d guess both — like people in America’s cities, where gangs make their lives hell, but are either in gangs themselves, related to gang members, or scared to resist.

The human misery is being funded by United States taxpayers.
She’s right in a way. I’ll bet that we paid for most of all the tunnels that Hamas has built over the years. Then there are the water pipes converted into rockets, we paid for them too. The best way for the misery to end is for Hamas to surrender. Will Joy call for that?
