Socialism isn’t “sustainable” either.
The nitwit doesn’t even know how to use Chicago’s best resource for dealing with migrants, Chicago’s brutally miserable repulsive winters. All he needs to do is let them camp out for a while and offer them nice comfortable plane rides back home. Once a few of them freeze to death and others end up with icicles growing out of their noses and ears, they’ll happily take the free flight offer and he’ll and solve this problem at a very low price. As a former Chicago resident, I speak from personal experience about the winters.
And it’s not sustainable WITH significant governmental support.

And since 1985 Chicago has been a self-declared sanctuary city that prohibits law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities to harbor and protect illegal immigrants.
You don’t get federal dollars. You are a sanctuary city, and it is likely that any federal money would just end up in the teacher’s union pocket anyway.

Chicago has plenty of room! 15,000 people in a population of 2.7 million is only about 0.5%. Keep those buses rollin’!

Sheesh, the Feds opened the border and then flew them to Chicago, how much more Fed help do you need?
So illegal immigration isn’t the problem. The problem is that sanctuary cities don’t have enough federal dough, courtesy of the taxpayers, many of whom don’t live in sanctuary cities and who oppose the insane and destructive open border policy of the federal government, and the virtue signaling of sanctuary cities.
