I remember after Katrina people were being bused around Texas and volunteers took them into their homes. Here in our little town a kindly lady took in a family and had a lovely roast dinner prepared for when they arrived. Upon arrival they complained and wanted someone to go out and buy hamburgers and fries. Meanwhile they took over the living room couch and the TV remote. The lady called and had them picked up.

She wasn’t tolerant of my views at all ....so you’re right ....leftist is a better word.
Unfortunately she is gone now. A sweeter person never lived - but politically we disagreed.

All libs should have to take them in. Pay for all their needs. If you take someone into your home’ after a few weeks the have RIGHTS and you cannot get rid of them. They have to be evicted. Hope the NGOS tell the illegals that. That way all illegals know how to do it

Years. They’d get squatter’s rights and you wouldn’t be able to dislodge them. Then they’d complain about the shower not being hot enough, the food being cold and bland, the lack of good tortillas and burritos, and the neighbors asking them to mow their lawns. The US District Court would step in and instruct the homeowner to remedy all of these problem. The court would require you to mow your own damn lawn so the guests would not be discomfited.
The illegals ought not to venture out of the ghetto and into the suburbs, they won’t last long.

An invasion means the invaders will take what is yours. “Migrants” have been coached and encouraged to do that very thing...and the mayhem has already begun. That always was the plan of the invasion. Eliminate the dominant demographic.
I was wondering if any of these urban political leaders were beginning to see the wisdom of controlled borders and enforced immigration laws, but I guess not.
As the overseas money laundromats dry up in the Ukraine and Israel, the NGO -Congress laundromats are revving up. Creating a mess and hitting up state and federal government for money to “fixit” is what the border issues are all about.
The cash recycles back into DC in the lobbyists pockets, who shuttle it to the obliging congresscritters and federal agency directors perpetuating it all

As we approach summer the basement dwellers have to get ready for Soros Summer encampments. I guess MI is the designated location for Summer 2023. Democrats love a good riot sprinkled with a few funerals to keep the media entertained during the summer.
