Trump needed Pence in 2016 because he needed credibility with evangelicals. At the time he feared that his repeated adultery would cost him among this huge voting bloc. After he won he realized that Pence was worth even less than a bucket of warm spit. Pence was marginalized and ignored. Pence ever since has been searching for relevance and revenge.

LOL! Maybe you can say that about Jeff Sessions but Pence wasn’t befuddled and was very aware of what was going on. He kept Trump in the dark regarding the traitors in his administration and chose not say anything. I believe he also helped the DS in undermining Trump.
