The “facts” in this incident have certainly changed a lot over the past few days. In something that should be simple to explain in just two or three sentences we now have full articles trying to rewrite what was originally told to the people. We are expected to just accept the new explanation without question.

Exactly. Besides- politicians and other public figures often make public statements about it- it’s a helpful gesture- same with public women and breast cancer.
