Oh no...no water is NOT good. Hope the guy can get it fixed tomorrow.

I’m quite tired of this mess. And of all the rotten luck, I get through the first frigid round in good shape and today, when it warms up a bit, I have no water! The pressure regulator conked out this evening. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I called my well guy but had to leave a message. I don’t know if he’ll be able to get out here with the roads iced over. They’ve been bad enough with just the snow.

I always have a few gallons of water on hand and learned years ago to keep several cat litter jugs full of water for flushing toilets. But since I want to keep the distilled water available for myself, I’ve been filling up any containers I can drum up with snow tonight so the cats will have water to drink. Just in case.

Got that covered and now I just have to hope the fog will go away. Freezing fog could build up on power lines and we don’t need the power knocked out.

I am SO ready for this week to end!

I hope so too!!!! I did NOT expect anything like this to happen. He put the switch in when I had the pump replaced last summer.

Man! It’s really piling on, isn’t it? That stinks about the water situation. Very smart to melt snow for the cats, though. I don’t know if I’d have thought of that. I sure hope the repairman can fix this problem ASAP. AND that no power lines are downed! That sure ‘nuff would add insult to injury!

I think I’ll finish this show and crash. It has been a VERY long day and my eyes feel like they have buckets of sand in them! See ya tomorrow....if possible!

At least, for now, the fog worry is gone. My last trip out to load up on more snow wasn’t comfy. The wind’s blowing a bit. NO FOG. As long as it keeps blowing, we’re in good shape as far as that goes. The roads will still be iced over but the power lines and trees will stay dry.

I’ll have the phone by the bed when I go to sleep, in hopes the well guy calls. If he can get here tomorrow, GREAT. If not, I’m in good shape with water now. I was a little worried until it dawned on me how much water is in the yard. LOL Fortunately, there are all kinds of things in the garage to put it in. Sometimes, having married into a family of hoarders pays off.

I’m surprised you stayed up as late as you did. Get a good night’s sleep!

It's been below freezing here,
with overnight temps in the teens.
Y'all know I hate that.
Scanning the posts, I see radu and Ma have it bad too.
It's starting to snow so we will have to leave earlier than planned.
Looking forward to a warm-up next week.
