Mornin’, beachie!
Just getting ready to shut this thing down and head to the bat cave for some zzzzzz’s.
Ooooooh yeah, we got snow here. At least a little of it melted today but we’re heading back into the deep freeze for the weekend. Can’t wait for next week when it’ll warm up.
You’ll see the “fun” I’ve had when you read the thread.
I hope you don’t get hit with anything like we have down here. It’s no fun! If you’re gonna get hit, at least let it be after your hubby’s appointment this morning.
Hope your day goes well!
Ruh roh! The snow’s started already? I hope it doesn’t come down as hard and fast as it did here Monday. You’ll be snowed in in a hurry! Good luck out there!
Hey vamp.
Been reading of the “fun” you’ve been having.
It worries me since your weather become my weather at some point.
I don’t think we got into the teens overnight, so that’s a plus.
But it’s starting to snow here. I need to check the local radar.
They say 1-2 but who knows.
Get to the bat cave and snuggle down.
OH NO! no...no...no
((LOL)) Thanks
Yikes! fog too?
Hope it doesn’t come this way.
Radar shows this will be gone by 0700 (fingers crossed)
But sometimes systems do a U-turn and hang around.
Okay. Going to sign off, grab breakfast and get ready for the day. Snow is piling fast but they say only 1-3 (fingers crossed that’s all).
Why they didn’t reschedule his appointment is beyond me. SMH
Well, look at that>>>

The ICE is what really gets me!
Spikie Weather.
5 days in a row and it keeps coming....
3 feet of snow and its hard to stay warm so I stay in the house..

“I was blessed to have met Medics Ken Moore, Bob Wright, Joseph “Mother” Madigan, and David Tuel. You see, my father passed away in 83 and he was 101st and this was his war too. He was gravely injured on January 10th, by a tree burst during the Battle of the Bulge. The Nazis had captured the aid station. I won’t get into the specs of his facial injuries as they were gnarly and these medics saved his life. I met these wonderful men in Atlanta Ga, at a 501/101st Airborne reunion. I had no clue but they were waiting for me on top of Stone Mtn. What a nice surprise. Medic Tuel gave me photos of my father and I was so very thankful to be able to tell them thank you for saving my fathers life and basically giving my siblings and I life. He wasn’t expected to make it and he spent over a year in hospital. I met them two more times, at other reunions, and I communicated with Moore and Tuel through email. I think of them often and am saddened that they have all passed away. Blue skies gentlemen.”
Dang! It’s been a heck of a winter so far, right? I hope you don’t have to get out too much in it. Brrrr!
We’re in East Texas right now, so while it’s chilly [40°] and windy, the sun is shining and waaaaay warmer than it is for you, radu and Kathy! Yesterday it was in the high 60s.
It sounds like you aren’t going to have as much trouble with the weather as we’re having down here. Be glad! This hasn’t been a fun week at all. It’s cold and windy today and every spot that had water from melting yesterday is solid, thick ice today.
The well guy barely made it here today. He’ll have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to come back. If it had been the pressure switch, I’d have water now. But noooooooo. I can’t have that kind of luck. It’s the d*** pump!!!
Fortunately, the wind kicked up a bit and that took care of the fog. Thank goodness we didn’t have it and didn’t lose power on top of everything else.
Winter wasn’t too bad here until this week. It’s sure making up for lost time. LOL
Had to walk out to the well house with the well guy because there’s no driving back there now with the thick ice. The wind is ugly.
Unfortunately there’s no way to get my water running until next week. Too cold to pull the pump out to replace it with a new one right now. Just my rotten luck. GRRRRRRRRRRRR
It might feel chilly to you but that 40 degrees sounds really warm to me right now. LOL
Well, that totally sux! I hope you have plenty of bottled water for yourself. Thank goodness for snow-water for the kitties!
