...this proposed legislation would have a devastating impact on private sales at gun shows....and I guarantee that there is at least one undercover BATFE agent at every gun show I have ever attended, and that is a LOT.....so try to sell your late grandfather’s collection of really nice guns through private sales....and get arrested....

I have about 28 guns. Only 4 were purchased from licensed gun dealers. So no records exist for 24 of them. How will they know if I sell one or 24? Or 28 for that matter.

The single most inviolable principle of the founding fathers was the right to personal property. The principle that what a man earns (or owns) is his to do with as he wishes without interference from the government — to include engaging in trade to make a profit from it — is enshrined in the 4th and 5th Amendments.
It’s no different than saying you can only sell your automobile through a government broker.
They know it’s blatantly unconstitutional but they’ll do it anyway because it will get The Right spun up and tax The Right’s resources to get their Marxist silliness beaten back.
These people need to be removed from office as soon as possible and by any means necessary.
