We? He's not Jewish or Israeli, he's American. We aren't bombing anyone in Gaza. Lot's of other places, but not Gaza. If We is he and his fellow actors, they're not bombing anyone either. As to, the lives of both Palestinian and Israeli civilians must be protected., his concern is not Israeli civilians', but palestinian combatants and civilians. If we means he played a pilot in a movie, I don't know about that, but that's acting too.

First, who is ‘We’? The United States doesn’t appear to be bombing anyone in Gaza.

Second, bombing sufficient to make the other side give up the fighting has been proven to move things towards peace. It is not the only step, but it is one of the first once active hostilities begin.

It took ground troops which Israel is also using against Hamas. Germany was never going to win WWII, or even conquer Russia, because they were never going to be able to produce the amount of military equipment, and successfully re-supply their troops in the field with ammo, vehicles, or gasoline. Unfortunately today, this country would never be able to produce or supply American troops fighting overseas, to the level they did in WWII.
