Folks, NATO does act as a deterrent to menacing players.
Trump is wise to put NATO on notice that they aren’t carrying
their fair share. He should chastise the. He won’t withdraw
and folks are not thinking clearly if they want him to.
We fought two wars in Europe during the last century.
We didn’t want to do that again, so we formed NATO and
kept our troops there.
We have gone 80 years without another global war. That
speaks pretty loud, considering it was only 20 years
between WWI and WWII.
Should we complain if the other team members aren’t
paying their fair share? Of course. And Trump is
going about it the right way.
As for the U. N., is there even one person here who
doesn’t see it for the corrupted entity that it is?
No. Ask yourself how many times the U. S. and Israel
benefited from the U. S. using its veto. That one
reason alone is why we must stay in the organization.
The U. S. is so hated by some of the other nations of
the world. Just how long do you think the U. S. would
survive if the U. N. and it’s “wanna be” nation states
could get half the things they’ve wanted to get done
to the U. S. over the years.
Laugh if you like, but economically there is plenty
they could do to harm our trade, and ultimately our
financial well being.
