If that’s the truth and I have a hunch it is, I wonder what the US would do in a similar situation if Russia tried the same in a neighbouring country. Matter of fact a while back it happened in Cuba and the US told Russia, get the hell out of there. Now people are wringing their hands when Russia decided to enough of this.

The Times whole story about this had to be sourced from people who knew all about the CIA- Ukraine.
NY Times doesn’t know what goes on with the CIA in some Ukraine military bunker, and what satellite images they pass over etc.
They have to be told.
Someone has to leak it to them.
The question is, who leaked this, and why ?

Regardless, because of state of Ukraine’s army, Putin’s Special Military Operation is now TOTALLY JUSTIFIED in the eyes of Russians, along with the 80% of the world that DID NOT try to ‘sanction’ him.
Zyiv might now have come to the conclusion that defeat is inevitable without vastly increased US involvement.

I’m convinced it’s Budanov, Ukraine’s Intelligence Director. The guy OBVIOUSLY knows what was going on for starters. Plus he obviously knows that Ukraine will lose the war and he’ll have to answer to the Russians (either through a trial or an assassination)...so perhaps he’s trying to score a few points to save his neck with Russia. Also remember that he just EXONERATED PUTIN in the death of Navalny, by blaming it on a blood clot - why else do that unless you want something in return? Finally, he’s 38 years old, straight, and wants to live a long time - this is his only hope, at this point.
Sundance at CTH has said many times that the CIA and State Dept. have differing agendas, and fight each other as hard as the fight the Russians. He says The Washington Post is the CIA "news" outlet, and the NYT represents State.
Draw your own conclusions.
