They do. But, the USA has BY FAR the most stashed “bullets”.
And, as a % of GDP, quite a few countries have sent more aid than has the USA. We are actually rather low on the list. We just have the most “bullets” because we are so big and have piled them up for a long time.
The real issue though is not whether, say, Germany has spent 1.3x or 1.5x (as a % of GDP) more on Ukraine than we have. The issue is what happens if the USA shrinks from the role it’s had since WW2. The world believing the US is no longer relevant becomes a very ugly place for us indeed...
Lord, I would love to get up in front of Congress and the country and do a Reagan style presentation with graphs and charts. If my nerves didn’t betray me, anyway. The biggest crowd I’ve ever spoken to was under 1000 people. :-)
P.S. The most reliable source of “numbers” comparing aid to Ukraine from various countries is the online “Ukraine Support Tracker”. The info. is slightly dated, tho’, so I don’t know if the recent $50 billion euros from the EU is on it yet.
No, it's not, why. It is a function of their demographics and they are trying to keep young families viable as best they can for the best possible recovery later. 40-50 year olds are more expendable in that light, and are actually in many ways better, more resourceful soldiers.

Ukraine is actually doing quite a lot now, to produce their own weapons. But, in the ‘90’s they decided to be peaceful types and believed the US and UK (and Russian!) guarantees of security. Their formidable arms production withered. One has to remember that right up until Pooty moved in big time in 2022, average Ukrainians simply didn’t believe that could happen. Russians (Pooty’s gov’t aside) were their brothers!
Ramping up modern weapons production in the 2020’s is quite a task. Even we are struggling with it, but part of that is politics, as much of the funding is in, guess what, the Ukraine (etc.) aid provisions. The Germans are doing pretty well with their program to increase shell production, which should jump considerably in a few months, which is a bit scary. I’m not sure we want the Germans to go on a 10 year arming spree. The history there is not so good, and current appearances can be deceiving.
And for the millionth time, you are utterly ignorant of the consequences should Russia in its present form so much as break even in this conflict.
Whether various individuals you mention are “evil” or not is actually rather inconsequential. Unless, of course, one of the 2 guys with their finger on the nukes button presses it, but that is highly unlikely...

That is truly an amazing work of cognitive dissonance and fantasy on your part! Maybe you should let the US military know that old men make better soldiers than young men. I am sure that there are many armchair warriors here on Free Republic who over 40 and have a lot of military type experience from playing video games who are ready to go fight in Ukraine. But don't tell the Russians! We would not want to let them know that old men actually make the best soldiers.
The Ukrainian church near us is secretly sponsoring young men who have been sent abroad by their families to avoid being killed. They are very good kids who are not sure if they will ever see their families again. If they are caught, unlike the other ten million or so people who have entered this country illegally since Biden became president... they will be sent back immediately to be used as cannon fodder. I am sure that you would approve of this use of their young lives.
After meeting some of these young men my wife and I feel that they are truly deserving of refugee status; many of their friends who were not lucky enough to get away are already dead.

What the Biden Admin. claims to be “Border Security” is not Border Security at all. The Dems are not willing for Border Security to happen, no matter what comes out of their mouth.
