Does the law saw you have to slice the bread?
Just sell the loaf.
Charge $1,000 a loaf. The point isn’t to make the sale, the point is to follow the law.

“Can’t wait for Taco Bell Bread loafs.”

Ya beat me to it! McDonalds bread. Burger King bread. In and Out Bread. Five Guys bread.

All they have to do is package up their existing buns and put them out on the counter and, Et Voila! avoid the $20/hr minimum.

I was just commenting on the machine. Had one once. Quit using it after a year.

"Probably because Greg Flynn, who operates 24 of the bakery cafes in California, is a longtime friend of Gov. Gavin Newsom."

The upper crust... The carbs are stacked in their flavor!

Ah, well, my neighbor makes bread. It tastes good. But yeah, not good for making sandwiches. Slice it and it breaks apart. Not compact lots of air inside.

Aren’t those the niche hotrods from the late 70s early 80s that were powered by 351 ci Cleveland Ford engines? Or am I thinking of Bricklins?

Jimmy John sells its bread. Their wheat bread is to die for. Go at the end of the day and they’ll sell you their leftover bread for cheap.

Newsom’s auntee Nancy tried to get the min wage law exempt from American Samoa.IIRC
Seems her husband’s tuna packing industry interests were located there.
Remember that one?

I foresee unintended consequences.

I see either automation or fast food places closing.

Either way I foresee fewer workers.

“I have been to other sandwich shops that sell loaves of bread”

Subway bakes their own bread, I wonder if they skate the new law if they sell the bread by itself?
