I’m thinking Vivek right along with you. And you know what I think - it was decided a LONG time ago, contrary to what is being said now. Although there’s a nice Italian guy, Pino Grigio who I’m considering.

bla bla bla. Youngkin is VP. Cruz is AG.

I think you’re right. Trump told us about two months ago that he’d already made up his mind. All of that plus what Vivek was preaching from day one plus an inner sense from the Lord I think, added up to me feeling that Vivek was the man.

Among the many VP choices facing former President Trump this time around, and things being what they are, and if the Democrats win back Congress next year and are successful in removing Trump from the presidency using 14A §3, I think Allen B. West would be Trump's best VP pick. Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Allen B. West is a Christian constitutional conservative, combat veteran, a former Member of the US Congress from Florida, the Executive Director for The American Constitutional Rights Union, and a former Texas GOP Chair. Thank you-and I want gov Abbott to stay right here for another term-he is needed for the foreseeable future, as is AG Paxton. And there is no excuse for people to use a person’s disability to downplay their qualification for a job or political office-that is REAL discrimination. Gov Abbott is a paraplegic-he is not mentally retarded, is not mentally ill, and is not disabled by 2 major brain injuries, like FJB.
And you are spot on concerning the funding-considering how much we pay to the fed, I think our gov has shown remarkable restraint in how little of that amount he claws back into the state’s pocket. Drastically lower the taxes and then tell the fed to fo...

Abbott is probably thinking to himself. I hope Trump wins, but if the Democrats steal this one Texas is going to secede. I live in Arkansas and am from Louisiana. If everything goes to hell I would hope to join Texas and pick up Oklahoma and Missouri as well.

Josh Hawley for VP.
Of course, he’ll make Dem and MSM heads explode. He knows how to politically street fight too.
But he’s telegenic looking and speaks very well.
Now Missouri is a safe state for the GOP - but I can’t see him hurting the ticket.

Although all of the above is possible, I don’t think the world will yet plunge into utter darkness which will happen as soon as America drowns.
The Left will get its way, just not yet IMO.
BTW, it it did happen, I live in New Mexico and would shuffle right over to Texas. But I’m not completely sold on Texas because the real deal will be the FIRST STATE to refuse federal funding and go independent, like the states are supposed to be. IMO Texas should do that NOW regardless of the 2024 election.

I looked it up. This is but one reason why Texas will not secede.
Which states received the most money from the federal government?
The federal government provides funds through various overlapping programs. As a result, the proportion of federal aid in state revenues is determined by the combined funding received by both state and local governments.
In terms of overall aid, the five states which received the most federal aid were:
- California ($116.0 billion)
- New York ($79.2 billion)
- Texas ($68.2 billion)
- Florida ($41.7 billion)
- Pennsylvania ($41.0 billion)
However, this report goes on to say that Texas is not all that depended on FedGov as are other states.

Dan Patrick is my choice for VP.
He is very telegenic, and I love his passion. He would tear Kamala up in a debate.

Oh yes....Cha R. Donnay is a fine, fine, candidate!
