As for construction, my Ukrainian Grandparents brought my Dad and his Brother over in ‘47 working odd jobs and farming. once they made it up to Minnesota, my Grandmother worked in a paper recycling plant and my Grandfather literally worked himself to death in the rail yards on the Soo Line.
