It was a good day to stay home. Nothing I needed to do so no big deal. I knew it was going to rain but didn’t expect the winds we had. We were under a wind advisory.
The heaviest rain stayed south of us, at least.
We start cooling off tomorrow afternoon and will have showers coming through. Sunshine, finally, on Sunday.
Here’s hoping you get to enjoy cool weather a little longer. There’s plenty of time ahead for the heat.

You’re totally right about there being plenty of time for heat. I want to enjoy cool that doesn’t come from the AC. LOL!
Glad you got to chill while it was wet outside. Not to mention the wind. Ugh. Who wants to be outside in that. The wind just does me in!

No cleaning day at the museum tomorrow. The two guys in charge of what we’re doing are out of town. It’s all pretty much done now anyway. Da Boss will be back early next week and will finish up a couple of things. I told him if he needs me to give me a call.
I’ll be up there bright and early next Saturday though. A tour is scheduled that morning.

Yep, being able to be comfortable with windows open and fresh air in the house is always nicer than having the AC on. Enjoy it while you can!
I don’t mind wind that much as long as it isn’t raining. No way to stay dry when the wind’s blowing it horizontally.

I am enjoying it. It’s actually pretty chilly tonight. Right now it’s 43 degrees. I’m not complaining. :)
Wind and rain together are not a happy combination. Glad you didn’t have to get out...especially to get groceries in soggy sacks. Ugh!

Sorry, I got distracted, getting back to you, LOL.
No plans at all this weekend. I did all my grocery shopping this AM.
It will be a weekend of relaxation although my son will be over at some point.
Are you back at the museum this weekend? Kittehs behaving?
