Wow! You’re quite a bit cooler. My thermometer reads 61 at the moment. The next three nights will drop into the low 30s and I’m not looking forward to that.
There’s a reason for watching weather reports. LOL Get the groceries on dry days.
Exactly! Thank goodness for weather reports! Besides, what the heck would all of us have to talk about if it weren’t for the weather. 🤣
I need to get a life. LOL!
Sounds like a mighty good weekend to me. Kickin’ back and spending time with your son.
No big plans here either, though I do need to go to a visitation tomorrow afternoon. Not looking forward to it.
I’ll visit my sister Sunday.
No, not back to regular weekends at the museum yet. We were up there last Saturday - - the guys were busy rearranging all the vehicles and I was there to clean. Two of us were back up there Monday to finish up as much as we could. There are still a few things to do and Da Boss will be up there next week to finish. I’ll go, too, if he asks.
Then a group tour next Saturday.
We reopen the third weekend in April and I’m champin’ at the bit for that!
Still have lots of snow...hoping we don’t get much more for the season.
At least the dust, etc, won’t be bothering you this weekend. Happy for you for a tour date next weekend..
LOL - after a beautiful spring day, it is now quite windy as a norther blows in.
Thanks, luvie, for spinning tunes for the troops. ((HUGS))
That’s the main reason I watch. LOL I hate getting the car and the house wet with soggy grocery bags.
Onward Christian Soldiers...beautiful, Albion Wilde...thanks! ((HUGS))
Nope, no dust in the air this weekend. LOL We’ve had enough rain to make it a little soggy.
But the pollen count is going up these days. I think I’d rather have dust.
So you’re getting windy down there, are you?
It was roarin’ out of the south all day here and once the cold front passes through tomorrow, it’ll be out of the north for the rest of the weekend.
Then a warm front comes through early next week. I reckon I’ll be binding my hair in braids for a while so I don’t look like Medusa when I go out. LOL
100% with you...”need” for a time change is long gone. All the time changes do now is annoy folks.
It arrived here sometime overnight...not that much wind, though. Must have gathered steam as it blew your way.
Hi, Kathy! You’re very welcome. I love doing this small thing for the ones who do so much for us!
Thank YOU....for all you do for them AND for us! (((hugs)))
Howdy, LV! Now I’m hungry for red beans and cornbread! :)
Yes! Sounds like you’re getting typical spring split-personality weather there too. We’re going to be chilly here for a couple of days, then in the 80s by midweek and then cool again by next weekend.
And I hear ya about the braids! I pull my hair up onto the top of my head in a high pony tail on windy days to keep it from blowing in my face.
There never was a need, imho. I wish TN was one of the states that didn’t go along with it.
Folks, be sure to support these artists by buying their music and attending their concerts when they come to your area.
Also be sure to set your clocks forward one hour tonight before going to bed. Daylight Savings Time start tonight at 2 AM.
Yesterday at Comanche Lake:
Gizmo just couldn't help himself. He just loves rolling over by dead foul.((LOL))
How's everyone doing this morning?
It was a gale here today but it’s still as can be now. The yard at the end of the house is white with Bradford pear blossoms that were blown out of the tree.
They said it’ll be breezy again tomorrow but out of the north rather than the south. No mention of wind advisories, at least.
