The simplest explanation I saw about some key holes in her story:

She drove herself home.

She had to conveniently “forget” this because it would have meant the incident in question took place in the summer of 1983 when Kavanaugh had an airtight alibi (he was away for the summer), not in 1982 when she would have been too young to have a driver’s license.

To Ford: what WEEK(s) did this allegation most likely occur? You are daring to write a book now & it seems that you haven’t done any research on that period of time to try to figure out the specific WEEK(s) that this allegation occurred. It would be like me trying to go accuse Beto O’Rourke of wrongdoing for a time when he and I were both children in El Paso, Texas during the 1976-1977 school year.

Just to be clear that I never recall hearing of Beto O’Rourke until his 2018 Election race against Ted Cruz for the US Senate.
